Awesome:

• Staying on the Awesome Baby Russian theme, Nikita Filatov obviously not hating his time back in Russia.
• A night in which Oskar Osala, Jay Beagle, Andrew Gordon (2) and Eric Fehr all score goals. Hells to the yes!
• State of Virginia, LEPISTOWNED!
  
• Introducing people to the Ilya Bryzgalov Score interview because the Coyotes were in town.
  Is just game! (I shudder to think what kind of havoc the Russian Olympic team is going to wreak)
  
• The Portland Winterhawks, for stomping all over their I-5 corridor rival Seattle Thunderbirds so far this season. What a change!

Less Awesome:

• Kari Lehtonen playing his first game back after surgery with the Chicago Wolves…..and losing to the Peoria Rivermen.
• Me doing the guido fist pump as a goal celebration.
• Having 365+ pictures of the Coyotes to go through using a photo editor I’m not used to. (I moved to GIMP)
• Carolina’s freaking ANNOUNCERS. AUGH. And let’s not get me started on their all-boobie-cheer-squad or the low angle camera shots they kept getting.
• Sami Lepisto taking craptacular penalties all night and being what bounced the Eric Fehr goal in. Uh, I has sign?

Fail:

• The Boston Bruins. Can someone other than David Krejci show up for a game?
• The Peoria Rivermen not playing Hannu Toivonen against Kari Lehtonen. We live for the Finn-on-Finn goalie action around here, c’mon!
• Aaron Asham. What a whiny baby.
• Philly fans. Every cheer I heard out of them was a variation of the words “Crosby” and “Sucks.”
• And while we’re on faily FANS, nice of Carolina to take the horn guy straight out of Verizon Center and start yelling “LET’S GO CANES.” Claaaaaasssy.
