Steve Pinizzotto and Grant McNeill are playing game 1 of the ECHL South Carolina Stingrays v. Columbia Inferno series tonight… you can get box scores and I hear possibly even radio feed at Stingrayshockey.com

Word on the street (okay, from the Stingrays office, so it’s not so street level anymore) is that the ‘Rays are getting Patrick McNeill and Andrew Gordon back as well, but not until game 2. I’m interested to see if the Bears carry the Rays as much as our one Cap (Fehr) carried the Bears.

I am now cheering for the Reading Royals and the South Carolina Stingrays in the Kelly Cup, because if the Stingrays and the Royals both win, they’re playing each other…. which means half of Hershey will show up in Reading to watch five of our guys play (Sean Collymore’s back for Reading)…. myself included.

Stupid other Bears In The ECHL fact… Jay Beagle was on the Idaho Steelhead team that won the Kelly Cup last year.
