Saturday’s Internet Noise:
January 17, 2009 | Filed in: AHL, Callups, da b'ars

*Morrisonn out, Helmer still in DC, despite word that he’d been sent back to Hershey on paper yesterday.

*Bears finally managed to remember what it’s like to win last night vs the Sound Tigers with help from the Kid Line. Perrault had a goal and an assist. Osala had a goal and an assist, and Bouchard, not to be outdone, had one goal and two assists.

*Be watching tonight- in case you’ve been living under a rock, Alex Giroux is looking to tie the record for games with a goal scored v. the Phantoms tonight. Brett Hull is the current record holder with 14 straight goal-scoring games, so we’ll see what Alex can do.

*The Phantoms tonight also come with an extra appendage- Danny Briere is on a re-conditioning stint in the A. Haven’t heard if he’ll be making the Hershey trip or not, but someone has to yell something insulting about his height for me if he’s there.

*Just to bring it home, your useless Finnish phrase of the day: Porot ovat söpöjä.
