So Long, Farewell
February 17, 2009 | Filed in: AHL, Callups, Cap Attack, da b'ars

News of today is the return of Jay Beagle and Karl Alzner to Hershey. Beagle seemed to be a mid-practice decision on the part of Boudreau, as he was on ice thismorning with Steckel, Gordon and Brashear, and seemed to be hanging in there, as he qualified himself out of the Juice Boy game pretty early on.

Alzner wasn’t in the practice, but according to Capitals Insider, Boudreau made it obvious that he was going to attempt to get King Karl back in DC ASAP.

The Bears’ valentines jerseys seem to be the other big piece of news throughout the organization.

Sure, they’re hideous, but honestly, haven’t most been pretty bad?

(to entice you to click on those links, in order, the Bears doing: “army strong night”, “breast cancer awareness night”, christmas ‘08, 75th anniversary, retro something)

About the only ones that haven’t been awful?

The Caps Night jerseys. However, they are misleading… the man sitting behind us at this game was convinced he was actually watching the Caps play.

Somehow, I don’t think that’s enough to stop the organization from making a cool $1,000 per jersey for charity, though!
