Tuukka Rask just cemented himself in my Pantheon of Finns for the temper tantrum he threw in Saturday’s game….

There’s no way that first one should have been ruled a goal even by the more myopic referees, as the rule says the puck must remain in constant forward motion, (which it suuuure doesn’t seem to) and everybody knows you don’t get two chances in the shootout. There’re also some mutterings around the internet that in a higher-quality slowed down video shows that the second one actually bounced off the crossbar as well. Even just for that first one, though, it’s hard for me to fault the Finnish Volcano for blowing his top.
