Stay on Target

Well, with a resounding Baby Capitals win over Philly, it’s almost that time again…. time to make the donuts!

The baby players who participated in this first week of camp now get to learn everything they can from the big boys before the ultimate Hershey/DC decision is made. The Bears open camp next Thursday, the 25th of September (probably at 10 AM although I can’t find that anywhere,) a mere three days before playing their first preseason game against the Norfolk Admirals on the 28th.

From what I’m hearing out of OFB and Japer’s Rink, the Bears probably won’t be seeing Alzner (as he’s been getting rave reviews) but it’s likely Pinizzotto and Beagle will be back at least temporarily and P. McNeill’s almost a shoe-in. Already, we’re starting to see bits of last year come back together-according to Mink’s blog, Deano’s back in town already, we’ve still got Giroux and G. McNeill signed, just signed Maxwell (who was out most of last year with a bum wrist)…. At this point all we have to wait on are the big-team possibilities like Gordon, Bourque and Lepisto, and the goalie mess.

And just because it was so bizarre I watched it three times:
